Welcome

Welcome to Yund Creations & Our Forest Friends

Hello!

I’m so excited to share Yund Creations and our beloved Forest Friends with you. Our dolls are designed for imaginative, educational play and storytelling – created to spark childhood memories while offering a unique, heirloom-quality keepsake that adults can treasure too.

This idea began more than ten years ago, when my daughters asked me to create fabric dolls similar to the historic Pioneer dolls (often called “rag dolls”) that we saw during our museum visits in the Midwest. They loved the idea of fabric dolls but wanted ones with more personality – friends with stories, quirks and a bit of whimsy.

That’s when Ellie Bee, Margo, and Amy first came to life. What started as a simple creative project quickly became part of our daily family storytelling. These characters grew alongside my daughters, shaping countless adventures and shared moments.

Last year, my daughters encouraged me to bring Ellie Bee and her friends to life once again. The dolls you see today are the most recent evolution of those original designs. Together, we’ve loved developing their personalities and stories. This creative journey has deepened our imaginative connection as a family. We hope our Forest Friends bring that same sense of wonder, creativity, and togetherness to you and your children.

Meet Elisha

I love being an artist, creator, and storyteller.

Each Forest Friend is lovingly made by hand in my studio, with care, patience, and joy. From the very first sketch to the final stitch, I design every doll and clothing pattern myself, paying close attention to the smallest details.

My daughters collaborate with me throughout the process – brainstorming ideas, sketching characters, and shaping each Friend’s personality and story. Together, we imagine who they are, where they live, and what adventures they might have next.

Our Forest Friends are meant to be loved, cuddled, and taken on adventures. My hope is that they will become lifelong companions – passed from hand to hand, story to story, for years to come.

I believe in upcycling, repurposing, and giving materials a second life.

Whenever possible, I source materials locally and work with small businesses and makers who share my values of quality, sustainability, and care for the community we live in.

“It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.”

John Wooden

Beauty lives in the smallest detail. I find joy in noticing the quiet, often overlooked moments in the world around me. It’s those little things – the tilt of an ear, the stitching on a sleeve, the softness of fabric – that bring a Forest Friend to life. No two are ever the same. Each one is unique, with its own story waiting to be told through your child’s imagination.

Warmest Regards,
