The garden gate creaked open in welcome as Ellie Bee padded onto the soft dirt. She gathered raspberries from the bushes on her right as well blueberries and blackberries from across the garden. Flowers joined the berries in her basket as she wiped her brow under the warm sun. When Ellie Bee entered her cottage, the smell of drying lavender and honey brushed her whiskers.
